ME 360: Modeling, Analysis, & Control of Dynamic Systems
Project Status: Completed (A+ in Fall 2024).
For more details, please refer to the syllabus.
Abstract: Modeling, analysis, and control of dynamic systems cover lumped-parameter modeling of mechanical/electrical/thermofluid systems; first-/second-order LTI ODEs; Laplace transforms, transfer functions, time/frequency response and Bode plots; state-space form; stability and feedback control; system identification/parameter estimation; and numerical simulation for design (e.g., DC motor). By the end, students will translate performance specs into design parameters and implement models in software to make engineering assessments.
